PROCESS
Repair Café is a repair anything space/service in Aarhus, Denmark. It helps
in repairing what is broken and thereby challenge the throw away culture.
It encourages people to bring in their broken items and use the workshop
space to mend them instead of purchasing new ones. We designed Repair Cafe's logo, visual identity, stationery, welcome notes, a poster introducing the cafe and brand guidelines.
The logo has been hand drawn over a typeface with minute irregularities
throughout, similar to that of things that are repaired. It is a dynamic logo with multiple variations that can be put in combinations depending on the collateral it's been used on. The visual identity comprises of carefully chosen simple imagery and illustrations of things and tools related to 'repair'.
